The story behind this very special shell...
"The night before heading to Costa Rica with no plan, I grabbed myself a cowry shell ring from my inventory.
Within a week the shell was missing from the bezel cup on the ring. Luckily I was staying near the most magical beach I have ever been to. A beach FULL of all kinds of beautiful shells. I found a shell that fit in the ring perfectly!
This ring stayed on my hands throughout the next 3 months on the Central American adventure! It came with Ellie and I to Panama, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala.
I noticed the special Costarican shell was missing while in Belize :( " -Maddi
The cowrie shell shown here is not the original, however, it is very similar.... and was found on the magical shell beach that I quite literally had dreams of before I knew it existed.
